Intriguing Playground Pavilion in Copenhagen: Mirror House 1

Danish architects MLRP have accomplished Mirror House, an unique wanting playground pavilion in Copenhagen, Denmark. Charred timber and polished metal have been the supplies chosen for the outside finishes. But this constructing comes with somewhat additional: convex and concave mirrors are mounted on the backs of doorways, reflecting the encompassing playground. According to the architects, the challenge “ is a play with perspective, reflection and transformation. Instead of a typical closed gable facade the mirrored gables creates a sympathetic transition between constructed and panorama and displays the encompassing park, playground and exercise. Windows and doorways are built-in within the wooden-clad facade behind facade shutters with different bent mirror panel results”. During night time time, the shutters are closed, making the constructing “widespread”.  But in the course of the day, the pavilion opens up, attracting the youngsters who love to observe their reflections in all instructions.
